Simple white bean turkey chili stew

How we do it.

16oz of dried navy beans or 4 cans of white bean of choice. If using dried beans soak overnight, rinse. If using canned, rinse before use as well.

1 yellow or purple or white onion- your choice.

You can also add in veggies at this point. I decided to just add in kale at the end. You can def load up with veggies like carrots, celery, red pepper.

As much garlic as you can tolerate - of 4-6 cloves

1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp of chili - or less or more depending on how spicy you like it. Or leave out!
1 tbsp of turmeric

2lbs of Turkey breast or chicken or whatever meat you enjoy or make it vegan and leave the meat out!!

I added in 2 buffalo sausages because I had them on hand.

32oz of broth and one cup of water. Or till beans are covered with an inch or two of liquid to spare.

1-2tsp of sea salt.
Simmer and stir often. Add in more liquid if needed. Test and cook till beans are super soft. Enjoy!
