YGP- Dr. Anita Johnston, Ph.D.
Episode 34: Dr. Anita Johnston joins me to discuss the root cause of disordered eating and how to heal through story and metaphor. I struggled with an eating disorder in high school. I couldn't afford therapy then and felt ashamed about asking for help. I felt like I should know better. So I spent my free time alone in the library, educating myself about healing and food's role in my life. I slowly untangled the knot inside me and went into complete remission. It was nice to chat openly about my shadow with Dr. Johnston. She is a wealth of information and offers skilled guidance to those who seek it.
